Thanks! A couple people have said they read it on the wire so it would just be nice to see it in black-and-white
To respond to the question about the Sam’s Share cut off dates... I don’t know if it’s actually on the Wire for everyone to see. I got my information from a report they send the PTCs that is a list of associates and the weeks they qualified for the Sam’s Share. (We haven’t gotten this year’s list yet). PTCs go through the list and check for associates to make sure all are listed correctly or if some names are missing. When I get this year’s list with the criteria, I’ll share what it says. I’m just going by the January 31 cut off date, which is what’s its always been.
Samshare is one work, that should help with the searching. It's in a pdf file. I'll let you know more when I get in.
This isn’t about severance or those whose jobs may be eliminated. This is about what date you would need to stay employed with Sam’s in order to get the full bonus for those who might want to quit soon.
I took severance in December and you do not get any percentage
To those who say this info is on the wire, or to the PTC, can you specify how to find it on the wire? I searched several different phrases and couldn’t find anything. Thank you.
I am a PTC (at least for now). You do have to be employed on Jan. 31 to qualify for the Sam’s Share. If you were hired before Nov. 1, you qualify for at least a percentage. Your share is higher the longer you’re there.
You do not have to complete the year, you just won't get the whole amount. It's literally on the wire. Look it up. Why must people talk like they know what they're talking about when they don't?
As long as you are employed and in active status on January 31, 2019 you will receive your Sam share.
You must complete the year. Work till 1/31/19 and you get your sams shAare
They lied or are ignorant to how it works. It's on the wire, look it up. You will still get a Samshare. There are some weird situations that you wouldn't, but those are rare.
Our club closed January 26th and we were told we do not get any Sam's share. I believe you have to go through to Jan 31st.
Even if you were to quit before the end of the fiscal year, you'd still get a % based on how much you worked that year.
As long as you are employed on January 31 you will get the Samshare.
