Band 4 MIP bonus delayed due to attrition???

One of my director friends in an SBG role in USA said HR informed them bonus payments may not be March 8 this year. They are considering delaying due to risk of attrition

In HR Direct it says it will be paid within the first 2 and a half months of the year. I guess they could delay to March 15 but that wouldn't stop exits

Anyone else heard anything???

On the hub strategy. If they tell you that your job is being relocated to another city, and you refuse to move, you might be told that you are not eligible for severance pay. Morris Plains is saying that "this" is where your job is now (hub location). I'm hearing this is a new trick to not pay severance to employees (up to 26 weeks and that's a lot of money). If you even think there is a chance this could happen to you, find any and all old documents that prove you have been at your site for "x" years and this is where your job has been historically, BEFORE you find yourself in this situation. It might not work for individual cases, but some enterprising "ambulance chasing" law firm will probably look for impacted personnel as part of a class action lawsuit. You can also file complaints with the United States Department of Labor and possibly your state's unemployment office and/or attorney general.

Every word that this poster related is dead true. They want you out if you're experienced (old) -- it's just a matter of time. If you're younger, it'll take longer, but it'll happen.

Do not tell anyone if you are planning to depart after the bonus payout. It only takes one person to spill a secret. Wait to give notice until the money is deposited into your account. If you have the grandfathered vacation benefit (primarily legacy Allied employees who have more than 15 years with HON), wait to leave until the raise kicks in during April (if you get a raise), as the payout will be at your current pay rate. Might as well get a few more dollars out of it. If you are going to retire, give 1 month's notice so that you can get pension, medical, etc. benefits lined up and in order before you depart. Make sure you get all the phone numbers and websites since you won't have access before you go. Take as much vacation as possible since it's unlimited. Manager won't approve vacation? Cough, cough. You have sick days, too.

Yes. Certainly HUB strategy planning is going on. 90% of people need to be in hubs by end of 2020

E.g. AERO is Phoenix. Corp is NC. SPS is NC too.... it's coming soon

Was told by HR it is being postponed to March 15th but not widely communicated. They are hoping a lot of people are planning to quit based on the typical March 8 payout. If you are not employed on March 15th you do not get your MIP payout. You can't give notice or quit prior to the deposit date

So if you are interviewing you should plan on being at Honeywell until at least to March 18 and maybe to March 31. Who knows maybe you will get the HUB Strategy RIF bonus plus MIP bonus and a new job some place better. I call that the Win-win-win

There has not been any new jobs coming in out division I am in aero. We are only working on older jobs for the past 6 months.

So not sure why they want to keep them
