Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Legal Fees

$4 million a week since filing for Bankruptcy.

Sears better wind this down quick or there isn't going to be any money left to pay creditors

or run the company.

That wouldn’t fix anything. Old (pre-2008) GM is still in BK court settling the BK estate, and it was liquidated with assets much closer to par value for debt than SHC. This is going to drag on for years, regardless of what happens now or on 2/4.

The creditors will probably get their pound of flesh one way or another as Sears ( a.k.a. fast eddie's enhanced bid ) is picking up the tab for their legal fees, so they'll just keep running up the tab - ain't costing them nothing

Judge Drain should pull the plug on Eddie and force Sears to liquidate now

Even if Lampert successfully purchases the operating assets of the company in early February, as he hopes to do, the bankruptcy case could go on for years.

The lawyers win
