The only Santiago en Vivo video I found on Socrates was from March 2017 where the speaker mentioned January and February months in passing and in a context totally unrelated to layoffs.
I searched for videos from the last week and month and there were none. I don't know what you saw and what you inferred from it.
From what was told they are an entity similar to Cruze, but in a different area of GM. No clue what they do...
WTF is GCCX?
like 10 manager in PHX emailed it out, but said they werent sure if it was only GCCX related, but it seems to be...its some GM internal link...i was emailed it by my manager..no idea how to find it on socrates
Socrates has many different filters, it can be language and location based so it’s very possible certain content is limited to certain users, that’s why you can’t see the video...
It doesn't really matter if you're not in GCCX....and if you are you would have received an email

It is true. He sent it to GCCX employees last week. Layoffs will continue into February at least for GCCX
