Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

GMIT

Not sure why so many on here complain. We all just need to move on. Whether we are selected or not. Just move on. GMIT is just toxic. We will NEVER be able to influence these leaders in IT. They are beholden to Randy and at his every beckon call. Don’t expect diversity. Expect the opposite. Don’t expect fairness. Expect the opposite. Don’t expect anti-retaliation...expect the OPPOSITE. You will never be able

To suggest the right solutions and answers

For GM. You have no idea the amount of interference that occurs in order to prevent people who know what they are talking about from getting their thoughts heard. These guys will just crush you. It is how they have managed with him for decades.

GM has allowed the same culture that caused incidents in Toledo to manifest itself in places like Austin, Roswell, Chandler and Warren. Do yourselves a favor. Just move on.

With the C's making a combined total of around 100 Million and Mary making over 20 Million of that by herself alone. You would think GM would want to offer some sort of compensation restructuring as apposed to laying someone off. Even if it didn't save all the jobs, it would be an offer some of those may consider taking. They offered a buyout for those that can retire, and for those that cant take a package, well you're out of luck.

GM has always treated me good with compensation and benefits. As a fortune 500 company, they have lived up to a higher standard. I am proud to be working as an employee here. However, GM IT has failed miserably across the board. This unit is not about how much you can do but who do you know within the management. very frustrating and plain wrong, and does not reflect GM culture. Hoping the business leadership recognizes this stinking issue and does something to fix it for the better.

As for losing jobs, yes it is terrible, but that's the nature of IT everywhere.

@XhJBL4O-cel as opposed to GM who took a 50 billion dollar bailout and is now doing a massive layoff, both are in the wrong

Go ahead and move on to Google or another globalist utopia. Join in the censoring of free speech and help the chicomms round up dissidents.

its just a job, no need to treat GMIT like its life or death. If you havent tested the market in case you get layed off that falls on you, and you have no one to blame but yourself

Site is easy to abuse- anyone can stack votes if they are bored. Remember that malcontents/elements outside the company have an interest in f---ing with people here.
