Best practices for new night crew schedule

Looking for feedback from any store currently on the new schedule for stocking crew. Have you developed any best practices to make it work? What are they? Are your club levels up to standard? What is your best advice for a newer club making the change. Thanks.

You should listen to your own advise that you posted. since you have nothing productive to contribute to this post.

My club works it out like this:

3pm crew comes in and starts working on filling holes, working some drop list, freezer cooler, and criticals. They will also help zone here and there until close. Around closing time, they stock water, juice, paper, pods and endcaps. Before leaving for the evening, the forklift driver will drop pallets for the morning crew to work on when they first come in. Mostly left over criticals and drop list from the night before.

4am crew comes in and works the pallets on the floor and mixed freight pallets. They will also work on freezer cooler and spend a lot of time spotting for receiving to clear off the dock and shoot up pallets.

Im not part of night crew or have anything to do with it, so this may not be 100% what we do, but its the main jist. It was a rocky start, but things have seemed to smooth out a bit since.

  1. QUIT.

  2. RUN.

  3. DON’T LOOK BACK.
