Vacation Tracker excel sheet

Today, my manager told everybody in my team to put your vacation in Vacation Tracker Excel Sheet if you plan to take vacation in First Quarter. That proves that layoff are coming up soon. If you plan to take vacation, most likely they will wait for you until you come back. They doing it for everybody under my CIO organization as Vacation Tracker Excel Sheet are shared on Sharepoint.

Mid January our immediate manager emailed and requested everyone reply with their vacation plans through March 1st.... for what it's worth.

Its actually sad that people need to maintain a separate vacation tracker spreadsheet because the timesheet program is so poor that it can't keep track of the difference between holiday, sick, and vacation time.

My boss has done this for years and prior bosses did this at suppliers too. You’re reading into this way too much imo. Have a beer when you get home.
