Corporate Greed is taking over and it is affecting our employees as we all see.
Let’s make something perfectly clear. By and large, they don’t care a fig about you, and would happily do away every single position in the company except the executives at the top.
Now I want you to think a minute about something. If every huge corporation could do away every job they could except executives they would, what jobs would there be?
Another thought. We all work hard for our money, do you believe what a CEO does could be worth 1000 times what an actual employee does. They seem to forget that the people who actually switch cars, fix broken rails, fix signals, repair boxcar, fix locomotives, fix our communications etc..
This is by no means is intended to imply all corporations are so lacking in ethics but Union Pacific do you take your employees for fools? We all see between the lines. The lies the unethical practices etc..
Dishonesty is one our rules that an employee gets terminated for without any questions. I do wish we as employees could enforce that on every single executive up at Omaha. I guarantee this railroad would run better without you cronies.
