I see everyone is speculating about the timing of the layoffs and what numbers are they gonna reach in reality. My question is, If anybody knows or has some logic for an educated guess, what methods will they be using to determine what parts of the company will be affected the most?

I'm sure there is a former out there somewhere chomping at the bit to get there hands on those steam engines or a tourist hobby railroad
According to PSR principals all those steam engines should be sold for sc-ap along with the executive cars.
😂😂😂 well played
"If you could take a week or two off at Christmas and the rail road ran fine without you, then you are not needed."
Lance took a couple of weeks off around Christmas and the railroad ran fine...just sayin'
And Lance’s minions are shaking their heads up an down like a bobble head doll and clapping their fins like a bunch of penguins.
Got my email 2wks ago ,
NLR Mechanical 8 Elec & 9 Mach furloughed as of Feb 10th ..
I was told that the farther you are from a train, the less you are needed. If you can walk out of your office and touch somebody doing actual train work, you should be ok. If you could take a week or two off at Christmas and the rail road ran fine without you, then you are not needed.
The steam team is a public relations side, they also work on running locomotives.
My understanding is that those employees who are to be "exited" the company will be called up to the 19th floor to Lance's office walked to the window and pushed out by Jimbo.
Who ever they don't deem vital to operations. My biggest beef is no marketing dept but still have the steam team going
