Why have dept leads

Why have dept leads if O/N manager and lead are coming go days. Day leads supervise very few people now and the ones they do are parttimers who usually come in to zone and help memberstFresh depts are the only leads thst actually have more than one or 2 people to lead. Why not split nightcrew into different depts and let the day leads write there schedule and actually have someone to supervuse. Kinda silly for a lead to leave a note for another lead to get completed when they tgemselves could deligate to an associste.

From the comments I’m seeing, and with the attitudes... I see why your not team leads.

Yep, that's the Floor leads purpose in this day and age. Couldn't agree more.

All team leads I work with are lazy and rude.

Team leads show up for work and make sure things get done.

Nailed it. That is the intention. Audit team repurposed with worse hours and schedule.

Floor leads purposes in this day and age:

  1. Resets and layout changes.

  2. Audits

  3. Inventory Prep

  4. Stocking

  5. Forklifting
