Universities steering interns and grads away from UP

Partner universities are steering grads and interns away from UP. It’s going to be an uphill battle to regain preferred employer status. Sad how this was the exact opposite only a couple of years ago.

College new hires and seasoned professional hires are going to be on the lower end of the skills spectrum because the high end talent will go elsewhere.

The folks remaining after the impending purge is going to have an interesting environment moving forward as far as workload.

Yeah, they won't let us visit campus anymore. No sh-- campus is mad.

If I was an intern I wouldn't feel the same as I did coming to UP way back when

Trains, smrains. The only ones that care about more and faster are on 19. Everyone else should be focused on making as much money as possible to do your job. Working for UP is no different than working at Enron or Arthur Anderson or Bear Stearns. Take as much as you can before someone looks under the robe or you are asked to leave!

The good talent has been leaving for months. No real reason to stay around when plenty of other places have good jobs
