Can I still pay my sears and discover card bills in the store? Can the associate still call the card company to post an immediate credit? Can I make payments in any department or is it still just in the appliance section?

People still pay bills like this? And someone actually uses their Sears card? What decade is this post from?
Payments on Sears Cards/Sears MasterCard are still accepted at Kmart with cash, check, or pin-based debit transactions.
You must bring the card in, as the statements don’t have a barcode to scan anymore.
K-Mart can accept Discover Card payments via their bill pay service, but there is a $1.50 charge for this.
This applies to non-closing stores only.
You can use a debit card to make a sears card payment at Kmart!
Discover payments haven’t been accepted since early 2016. Sears card/ Sears MC payments can be processed at any register, but must be paid in cahs or with a check. Never heard of calling to have an immediate credit posted.
