Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Domestic Claims

Word is all Domestic WC Claims are being moved to a Third Party Administrator for handling...That would mean numerous layoffs in all departments if that is accurate.

@Xn04fkh-2eml I disagree with you. It's not that easy to quit and in this world people just don't walk away from jobs. You must be in a cozy position with a lot of job security. Obviously you really don't see what is going on in this organization.

Never quit unless you only have a few years with AIG. Work slower. They do not care about you. How much will the 100 year party cost

@Xn04fkh-kwc and people who feel double/triple over-worked, why don't you quit the job?

makes sense. It would be cheaper for the Company. All of the people coming over from Chubb are used to working with TPA's. The client finds their TPA and if they do not like the results...they can't blame AIG.

That would include any WC in any SS center like KC SS & all of work comp that’s done there what with the massive scale back everyone is doing double, triple the workload so overwhelming is an understatement not to mention the morale levels but local management just tells you you’re going to be doing this or that now it’s quite chaotic folks are tossed into things quickly without much if any training or forethought we’re all ready to pack this thing in & take a severance package and call it a day any thoughts ideas appreciated 🙏
