Do your jobs

That's the largest problem we as craftsmen have. We want to blame the company for everything that has happened. We allowed this to happen by only doing a certain amount of work and saying that's it for the day. We should condone members that go out and sign work off without even performing the task. All for what, we dont want to get dirty, rather sit back down and play on our phones, take long breaks and lunches. Is doing as little as possible worth the consequences. I'm not saying to do everything, but do your job. We all came from working on the outside and we know how to perform. Instead we will botch about the company taking our break but we wont say a f---ing word when our members dont perform there jobs ot decide to do only what they want. We dont say a word when people abuse the system, but we botch when the company does what it's doing now.

It’s on both sides. I fill in supervisor. There’s guys who do all their work and sit. There’s guys who complain about every single thing like having to wear spikes when it’s icy outside. There’s guys who get farmed out or bumped to working service track instead of outbound so they don’t do a damn thing all night except sleep. It’s all around and unfortunately they can’t be selective in who they can.

Meanwhile others hit the gym

If you do twice the work, they need half the people.

I work hard for my MOP lifestyle and fancy trucks. The best part about it is all you punks that rat each other out. You all make job a piece cake so I can keep eating those donuts and scratch my a--.

My contract doesn't say I have to have eight hours of work billed a day. If it takes two hours for them to get my locomotive parked that's on them. I show up on time give them eight hours of my life and accomplish what I can during my shift. To the people on here saying you need to quit complaining and do your job, you are the problem. You sound just like a manager that doesn't have the balls to go out and tell your workers to go to work. But then we are actually going to tear stuff apart and fix that and you won't get the release you want to make yourself look good. I have had managers ask me to sign off work before it's done so they can get a release and sign off work that still needs done then have us go do it. All the laziness starts at the top.
