OTS Scan

How can a Billion dollar company like whole foods roll out a program that is based on the honor system ? These scan are nothing but lies and nobody questions it.The compare all stores together in a region by email,stores cheat to get a desired number to please regional but regional has no idea if these scans are done correctly,why not hire a third party to audit and scan,OTS is such a joke

I'm assuming this means "OOS" scan, not "OTS".

I work at a store that only gets 3 deliveries per week, and we're about in the middle of the pack for the region on OOS counts. Literally all you have to do is prioritize those items. It's easy as f---. This is an even more id--tic thing to complain about than most of the dumb sh-- posted on here.

How can't they be aware of logistics? They are the heads of this company! Global and regional please get a clue ,you need to stay out if store operations.OTS is a disaster and a complete sham.

setting a double standard when a normal walk is is not a critical but when being audited it is a critical.

delivery time not accountend for or given enough time for the order window when there are store getting trucks at midnight vs stores getting trucks after opening.

spacing of course is no the same for back stock

planograms not matching stores layout or size

there is no system set up for doing ots when having staffing issues

store leadership not aware of ots and what needs to happen they forget everything after reading the expectations list

barriers set in place by store leadership to meet their expectations before ots

overall it has failed comps mean you had a few bad years and it’s easy to comp this year.

a very failed/faked program by people not aware of logistics at each store.

The biggest issue is No Sat night or Sun morning delivery. I agree with the statement we all pull from the same UNFI warehouse for our Regions.

coordinators and ac’s trying to seem relavent to amazon!

i’ve never seen a more fale program than ots!

their flagship stores are not in ots when invisit them but manage to pass on the walks!

honor system doesn’t work since you are corrupt!

more changes in but they never account for opening hours, delivery times and of course if you have to account for that you need to over order to cover yourself days to day fullness levels wich is not ots since you order only to have what you need.

if you get cut on items you are left to fill holes with what you so that means if you are truly ots compliant you should have zero items to fill since it’s ots.

coordinators have fifferent expectations vs global and store leadership.

don’t get me wrong all great individuals but to lead a company they have no idea as labor workers would agree.

Because alot of different factors go into that list of stores ,each store has different sales, different weekend sales,some stores get Saturday night delivery,bigger holding power of items and newer stores were built for OTS. It's just not core items , everything counts against the scan percentage and you need under 55 percent to pass.I don't see how in retail that all stores don't get a Saturday night delivery.

How is it rewarding or punishing anyone? All you got to do is order the core items and you pass. If you somany out of stocks that you are getting called out, it’s your buyer that’s incompetent. We don’t b---s--- any of the OOS walks and still stay off the sh-- list, if we can do it so can any other store within the region, we all order from the same warehouse.

Focus on filling the floor,what a concept.Leave it to Whole Foods to rollout a program that rewards cheaters and punishes honest teams ,The scan is mo--nic,the rules they make up just make it harder to focus on the floor.

it’s to show amazon that we have “competent” leadership but not really all this rolled out no labor allocated to make the programs work they keep adding and the floor presence demishes due to this.

the current generation of wfm leadership have driven the company to the ground

can’t wait for amazon to get them out and focus on filling the floor!
