Well after this round, we say so long to all the newly hired guys from the last couple of years. Sad to see so many motivated and hard working younger people being pushed aside. They will survive and find better jobs based on their skill and desire to work. The director says they will be called back one day, hopefully. I have a feeling they won't come back after being burned at UP. I can't blame them.

You have to actually work to get a hire on bonus. If they ain’t working, they ain’t gettin paid. It was probably part of the contract they signed in small print. No amount of suing will get them money.
That can be right next to the lawsuit by machinists for UP sending our work to SCAB shops. That will be tied up in court for years.
So what happens for these guys that got hire on bonuses...the unions should sue UP if they dont get the money they were promised.
Fort Worth. I would say it’s system wide though.
Railroaded... it's all about money
