Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Pray

Praying for all at GM who will be impacted leaving and staying. Very sad time in the companies history. Many of us worked as family together. May God bless each one and may his light shine on his faithful children. Know God holds your future not man.

Thanks for posting this. Although my first thought would be to lash out at all of those who are responsible for this mess, I am with you. Real people and their families will be changed by the events of the next two weeks. My prayers go out to everyone tonight.

To hcy - Yes I loved my job and the people. Disappointed is an understatement.

Well said, thanks. Thanks for not piling on with the anonymous negativity. It's difficult for all involved, and so many of us pour our hearts and souls into that company and the negativity doesn't help.

I don't think anyone is deriving pleasure from this at all , perhaps a select few only. This is an absolute sad time for the wonderful people of GM and Americans period , may the Lord or what ever your faith is be with all of you. This is just a reminder that we have to be good to each other.

Good post. The point is to by empathetic to our fellow humans. I don't think the directors like doing this nor does anyone.

This is just a job and doesn't define you. The path may be bumpy and it will be different but put your best self forward and get what you deserve out there.
