Hinkle is more than likely done with Vena showing up by end of February. Why else would he be coming? Only hump yard in the whole PNW and it’s likely done. No one is safe.

Vena wants the humps to push 2,000 a day. If you aren’t doing that, you may worry.
Hunter Harris said if a yard is not Humping over 1500 cars a day, its inefficient, take that philosophy and watch what Vena Does.

As for the guy saying people should tell Vena off, maybe people are trying to salvage what they can, meaning any type of compensation that will feed their families, before they find a new line of work. The hump is shutting down! Some flat switching but much business beimg diverted to portland and pocatello.

I wonder how many people greet him with a fake smile thinking he is going to save your job(Including management and directors)? Has anybody had the balls to tell him how they really feel to his face? I see a lot of keyboard warriors on here...no stories of anybody confronting the man that is going to take your livelihood away from you and your family.
