Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

How far are we from the headcount that was planed with the changes?

I know that chances are this isnćt gonna stop any time soon and that 2019 is gonna be a turbulent year, to say the least, but I would really like the know how far off is the company with the changes regarding the headcount of the workers that were planed in order to align the company with the 2020 plan. How many more layoffs need to be done for them to say we are aligned with the plan?

I heard another 900 need to be let go........ :-( I hope that's not true. I was in the 2017 big layoff. At least I got a "package".

I think it depends on how close they are to G55, the last wave before Christmas only moved UP down 1%.

They have since hired on a new COO . But are shutting down hump yards, just watch the operating costs and when they get close to the G55 they will stop
