For the ones who have been let go, how did it happen? Meeting invite? HR come to your desk?

I had a 1 on 1 meeting invite for this morning on the other side of the complex, very unusual, but that was a dead giveaway. Anyways, just glad to be over with after all this waiting, and focus on next steps.

Any names of the ones laid off in Austin IT so far? I know a person there. Worried.
In Cadillac building at Tech ctr., a manager comes to your desk, takes you to a conference room, then HR takes you back to your desk to pack up, say goodbye to coworkers if you want, and escorts you out. the long walk to and from conference room (which is on the other side of the building) was hard since you know what is going on.
