I was let go from Cad. My team used an elaborate ruse to make sure we were in the office. They sent out a meeting notice (paraphrasing) "2019 infrastructure planning." As if it was kind of a "your safe" meeting. I mean, why include me in 2019 planning if you are gonna walk me out?? About 5 min before the meeting, the meeting changed to Sunday. Yeah, Sunday?? Being skeptical(because I figured my Austin manager had chosen me since Dec), I didn't go to the room because the meeting went off my schedule. I figured screw it, they can come find me if the meeting was still on. Also, none of the people invited to the meeting were on Skype yet, 5 min before start. Anyhow, 30 min after the meeting was supposed to start, I looked at it. Everyone was on, so I walked down to the room. 2 people were in the room but not my manager. No one could find him. As I was sitting in there, I was making small talk with the two people in the room. A manager walks by and signals the guy I am siting next to to come out. He leaves. Since no one could find the manager that called the meeting, so I went out to make a phone call, in another room. 5 min later, the manager that called the meeting is standing at the window. I open the door and he says come with me. So far, 3 people on the meeting notice were let go, which included the guy I was sitting next to in the meeting. You should see this meeting notice. The people they invited, what it said, etc...just a ruse is all it was. Unprofessional candy a**es.
