Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Is it slowing down?

At least for today? We lost five people since this morning, but now it's eerily quiet. I'm not sure if I should be happy that it seems to be over or if I should be worried that this is just the calm before the storm.

What's going on all around? Does it seem to be slowing down elsewhere?

I read an article this morning that stated it will going for the next 2 weeks. It’s okay to be worried and to be stressed. Don’t listen to these trolls telling you to "medicate" as if it that’s just the perfect comeback or whatever they think they’re doing. And if it gets to the point that you need to take any medication to deal with the anxiety, do it. There’s nothing to be ashamed. And to the trolls, educate yourselves.

4000 people are up for grabs, there's no way they've even come close to that number. They're going to be pulling people for the next couple of days.

Talked to a few people that just had their meetings scheduled for after lunch, so it might die down for a period then pick back up.
