Upvote if you agree to strike on Valentines Day. Striking is the only way we get the attention of the media and institute change in our favor. We can bring the railroad to its knees if everyone participates. Notify your union presidents and let your brothers and sisters know. No one crosses the line. No one works until the people laid off get their jobs back.

The Railway Labor Act would probably force you to consider negotiation and mediation before allowing a strike. Waste of time.
Nobody will strike
No pride in anything you or worker mates have ever done... Good riddance. Never entitled to a lifetime of employment snow flakes. Just a shame severance likely wasted on such ilk from the company, or ever a single dollar of union fees. Some of you clearly deserve even worse than what likely next for you.
They wanted to downsize 30%. A strike right now makes it easy to decide who gets cut. The union is stronger right now doing your jobs well, and applying pressures to salvage all they can. A union can not stop this trend, the best they can do is mitigate. I know it s---s. Show you are the best people to do this job, not talking lap dogs, not that you are willing to walk away. This you greatest strength right now. Proud, strong, knowledgeable, absolutely worthy, where others would not be. That is your strength. Where forced out, go out with pride, having fought the good fight for what the railroad always been. History will determine if the execs best served the railroad or not, there should be no doubt, laid off or not, that the worker class always historically ultimately did.
Too bad you can't even get half the members to do this. Unions s--- there is no brotherhood it is every man for himself, even with these layoffs i hear the old heads sayong when will overtime open up they want it bad. So f--- the union
