I was cut in November from IT with about nine others. I’d say the average age was about 50 years old.
I hope all of them, pretty big waste of space.
At least I’m hot, but damn, that s---s. I better start self identifying as a 30 year old.
Seniority only counts for Union workers, in non-union I think the majority are over 50.
This goes by seniority not by age
Three of the five in my group were over 50.
That’s not true about age it’s seneority
I was one of the over 50 crowd that was cut but I also noticed a lot of the casualty employees were cut also. The unfortunate thing about the casualty employees is they lost their seniority. In my observation it looked like they targeted a certain group of employees.
But were any of them hot 50 yr olds?
Me too
Everyone I know that got laid off in October were 50 years and older.
