Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

If its anything like any other thing at wft, they won't close houma down until next year. Everything takes longer than it should. By the time it might close it will all be temp workers. Manufacturing is the core if the business without equipment we can't sell anything, yet they think if we hire more salesman we can do better. Sales can't sell if they don't have anything to sell......lets just keep spending money to save money!

They are still using my husbands name with Weatherford e-mail address after he was let go.

If they offering you to move to Huntsville, don't fall for that c-ap. Thats what they do....they paint you a pretty picture, you pack up and move your whole family, then after about 2 months if your lucky of being moved, guess what......oh so sorry, we got to let you go, but hey thanks for leaving everything behind and uprooting your kids, etc just so we can let you go.

Please don't fall for that BS...i seen it EVERYTIME....

As a employee that got let go by Weatherford I can tell you they screwed me on my severance package. But I was not surprised as Weatherford looks after Weatherford and the financial disaster that their in. But don’t worry management will continue to run this company into the ground. Very disappointed after the years I had put in and dedication and sacrifices my family made it all came down to a employee number. But remember their motto “One Weatherford”. More like “Weatherfords #1 and Employees are just their and they should be thankful the almighty management lets them work their after BOD, shareholders etc.

Well im a vendor and yes we're getting paid... its hard work but we are getting paid.

If they aren't even paying vendors you can pretty much guarantee they will try to find a way to not pay extra money to employees.
