They’re about to cut heads in Little Rock is the word. I don’t understand why they just hired if they plan to do major cuts this year? This isn’t a company that I want to work for anymore. Terrible management!

UP has Jenks as an overhaul shop. The other shops such as The Ramp are running repair shops. I'll tell you this. You are laid off. Why should you care. Let me guess, my family. The company ducked my family and I. If you actually thought they cared then Karma knocked on your f---ing door and knocked you out. My entire family has been railroading for 75 years. I know the consequences of being on the railroad. It's not just this company. It's all the railroads. Why should you care. Do the rest of us a favor and QUIT. That way it guarantees that you wont be back.
Nice work good job with your home work .. UP is a CLASS 1 RR they have many shops NOP FTW etc how many of the shops you listed actually do overhauls and projects ? Most of them are working light repair ( like the Ramp in NLR) and what you do at Jenks goes to contractors no need for 2 shops in NLR
Ask yourself ... how many Rebuild shops on CN ,CP, CSX ? PSR does not include Rebuild or Back Shops !
No Jenks Shop in 2020 plan ..whatever is left will be gone by 2020

I see a 200 man roster for electricians and machinist. 3rd shift jenks will be shut down.
That's exactly what I thought. You dont know. Machinist wise is about 105 jobs at Jenks and about 65 jobs between the ramp and service track
