These cuts are destroying families. Union Pacific has been making record profits every quarter, everyone please contact cnn, fox news, MSNBC, tweet at trump, email your senators/congressmen, and get the attention on what UP exec's are doing. They are going to cut work force and increase profits until it is about to tank and they will retire right before it does, like vena did at csx. It is a game to them. I have reached out to news agencies and I beg all of you to do the same. Maybe more people need to be looking into this market manipulation game maybe laws being broken scamming shareholders. Look at what they gave Vena to come out of retirement, 4 million in stock, they know what they are about to do. Cut as many employees maximize profit and right when the sh-- is about to hit the fan, sell sell sell the stock and retire. Vena and fritz both

Inform all the news services, yell it from the rooftops, rent a billboard - no one will care. It’s you against UP’s public relations machine, and you have no chance.
You say the company is corrupt? Cares only about profit? Trouble is, you can’t prove it. The railroad says they need to change to compete in the 21st Century. They’ll mention the “old” style ways that have been in place since 1862 and if you fight, people will view you as just trying to hold on to your job. You’ll just be another union guy trying to keep from having to work in the “real world” like everyone else.
Politicians will be happy to stand up and pound the table while lamenting the loss of jobs, but since you can’t prove any nefarious behavior by management, they’ll be powerless to do anything about it.
The sad truth is that anyone looking at this from the outside won’t give it any thought. Or if they do, they’ll believe that the railroad is bloated with unnecessary workers and just trying to increase efficiency. But I do wish you the best of luck.
The "tweet at trump" statement was said because so many people including news agencies follow his stuff. The more eyes on it the better and I also have a hard time believing that he wouldnt call out Union Pacific for laying off 12,000 people (30% of the workforce), when he called out GM for laying off less than that.

UPRR is being stolen, cut up, destroyed and sold off by corporate raiders. Nobody will care. All you or I can do is find the best escape and keep the damage at minimal as possible. Greed has consumed them and as long as feds don't look to deep, nothing will change that.
I couldn’t agree more!!! There is something illegal going on and I would love to see these aye holes go down. Makes me sick watching them on townhalls laughing it up, clapping and having a good time while sending people packing. What kind of a heartless piece of scum enjoys that? I’m guessing Tennison was against all of this and good for him if that’s the case. Heard he is a really good man and I’m sure Jimbo convinced the other puppets to oust him into retirement.
