Wherever you're located BNSF isn't to far away. Keep looking at their website for opportunities to get back on the railroad. It's a good job but the UP greed has destroyed it, Warren Buffett knows psr is gimmick and isn't going that route. Good luck

Everyone portrays Warren as some sweet old man. Do you think he got to where he is by being compassionate? I work with BNSF everyday in person, they are way ahead of us in some areas of reductions. They know their turn is coming.
Canadian National has also been swallowing up as many UP layoffs as possible too. You can try them also.
Hes just waiting to see if UP makes it work man. They will follow once UP comes out with numbers that are continually breaking records. Machinest pay your 2 dollar a month off roster dues. They will call back...just in case you havent found a better job.
