Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Martens conference today

More org changes in mid March as they move "resources" around even globally. We are actually said that they're considering shifting resources from London to the US and vice versa. And that the costs

do not outweigh the benefits. Well as a homeowner with an established life where I am now, I disagree. I am always amazed at the corporate speak in the way people

are dehumanized into just resources that exist for no reason other than to make someone else money.

Did he say anything on timing or which roles would get moved?

By "resources," they mean people - i.e. us. Ironic since we have taken a stand against human trafficking and slavery.

What did he mean about resources? Who do you think is being moved?

I kind of thought after the sales conference, they will start to make some change ( not good change) again...many of those who are going to president club will say good bye to TR after they come back from the trip. I went to Punta Mita few years ago and it was great, but I wonder if the quality of this year's trip are the same or less....
