I wouldn't say they have to due to the money spent already, everyone that works for U.P knows how wasteful they are. Trip over hundred dollar bills to save a penny.

If Brazo goes full operation. Four hump yards will close in Texas. That's a givin. Any businessman can tell you that. No brainer.
UP has spent over 500 million on Brazos hump yard. There is no way they could abandon it.
Yes, Brazos is still being built. What it may become may change but as of today they are still going as planned.
They're moving forward with it, but when it gets fully opened up, look for multiple yards on the south to close.
