What is the plan of doing OOW all over the world ? Is it loosing it’s value, popularity and participation from the customers and the partners?

OOW in SF is a mini version of what it used to be as Oracle cuts spending.
Those are mini versions of the flagship conference. And have been around for many years. I have never been to one of the regional ones, but my impression is that they are mostly sales events with very limited dev focus.
"OOW attendees are mostly 50+ in the last few years."
Those tend to be the ones with spending authority.
OOW attendees are mostly 50+ in the last few years. Cool kids go for MS build or Google I/O
Customers won't pay to fly halfway across the world for an Oracle conference anymore.
Oracle isn’t cool and/or on the cutting edge of technology anymore. Slowly becoming the next IBM. That’s the reason DreamForce attendance is on the rise. SFDC still seen as innovative and cool. Oracle is not.
Cost cutting?
