Does anyone have inside information as to what date Ford U.S. cuts begin for white collar? This anxiety is absolutely killing me especially after reading all of the posts from those from GM that got let go! What a horrible thing to have to go through and we are next in line! I know it's by the end of the first quarter but what date will it start?

Ford mgt has a number for each group in each region that they feel is sufficient for supporting current and forward model programs. This will be announced when they originally stated, 2nd quarter, not beforehand. We realize this creates anxiety amoung workers but we don't care. Finance will get hit pretty hard, TVM is going away. Cuts will keep happening as Ford moves to EV's. Welcome to the new paradime!

Ford has started the layoff process in Michigan this week. Agency employees are the first to leave the company.
At first jacket said reor g would be announced at the end of 1st qtr latest article in news about thanks says end of 2nd qtr. These guys really know how to drag this out, probably making it up as they go like indie
I think jacket is a cutter, and what do cutters do, they CUT. Visionary my dupa, Ev,& Autonomis vehicles are at least 5-15 years into the future of even then. build a quality vehicle that people working class people want not what Bill Ford "feels" the planet needs@@@@ ha lol get grounded dude spend more time at pd and in a manufacturing plant. Read atlas shrugged Bill and give it a chance to sink in!
Just read on the Ford HR Site today no PRps offered for 2019. Last year was generous with a 9 month severance what is hacket upto???
It's never a good sign for layoffs when the CFO resigns.

Changes in CFOs are usually the first sign that layoffs are immanent. I would say March.
Won’t be for a few more weeks sometime in March. Lots of cuts across the board in NA. My guess 4000-8000.
Overseas a lot outside of India which is where a lot of the US and overseas IT jobs are going.
Heard it will be huge in IT this time.
No one knows when the axe is going to fall... just like GM, there's no transparency here...
