They call 2-3 extra jobs per shift and can't fill the jobs. Look for borrow outs soon. Not enough foreman so they force people to cover. The switchman's extra board is getting thin. No layoffs in sight. Vena where you at.

I would rather be poor and live in San Francisco than work in North Platte Ne
So close a shop and disrupt the lives of those families, then move those families to another location so they can disrupt the lives of the locals there. Talk about swinging for the fence.
We took on S. Morrill workers and then they cut. Same thing they did when they transferred Denver in. b---s--- if you ask me considering most were new hires that moved their families from all over the countries for a bonus they didn't even get get all of.
Didn't North Platte just absorb some of the recent shop closings? Did they have cuts prior to taking on the extra workers? Any future cuts there?
That’s the way they do it. Eliminate jobs to please their boss but then call extras to cover up for the stupidity. Then say I need a favor. Which is code for hey man go ahead and break the rules today we’re in a hurry and I’m sorry I wrote you up yesterday for that exact rule but I was with the superintendent and I had to.
North Platte = Poor life conditions in general. A complete American S-ithole.
I was told they cannot hire people in North Platte Ne because of the poor working conditions. Rumor has it that people won’t even apply for this location. Apparently they hired a bunch of people last summer and gave them a 20k hiring bonus, but only paid out a small fraction of the bonus because with all the stipulations it was impossible to receive the full amount. What a slimy thing to do. You couldn’t pay me a 150k a year to work in North Platte ne.
