Can we have a layoffs round at BNYM that will get rid of the useless managers, please? And then - a novel idea - we maybe replace them with people who know what they're doing?

There are so many managers in this company who only know how to bark but cannot do anything on their own , they will push you ahead to take all the bullets and kickbacks. When a job is done good , they will not even appreciate your hardwork and take all the benefit for them... The place is a sh-- hole..
Knowledge and experience were criteria for being laid off, didn’t you notice? Maybe all of the people who know what they’re doing are GONE!

I see a new cascaded goal for 2019 is that I am to self-manage.

I am almost useless now that I have 10+ whose jobs I barely know. I must also continue to do my old job. Get rid of ME, please! :-)
Why would they need to be replaced? Empower the people that do the work and the outcome could be quite good!
