Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Seeking Alpha article on Sears dated today March 11.

Great article folks. Read it especially if you are a former employee expecting severance. The problems are not over, it just keeps getting more complicated and confusing.

From what I've seen on here and in the media, everyone who used to work for Eddie hates his guts, so this is pretty much par for the course.

I guess you are right, the odds of getting the remainder of severance pay is 'slim and none' and slim just closed the door on his way out. When one looks at the long list of claims, there are some vendors who are unsecured and owed hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars... Eddie just stiffed all of these people. I suppose they should have known better than to trust EL the last year or so.

I've said it before, Eddie is on every side of this transaction. I don't claim to understand it all, but how can he lose?

Only Eddie could screw things up so badly that OldSears, which Eddie owns, is considering suing New Sears, which Eddie also owns.
