Is there any talks for voluntary retirement package in VDSI? If yes, what is the criteria?

The criteria is. U need to sing the Johnny Johnny song.
Think about it, we moved so much work to infosys because they can improve the productivity in IT. How long before we move all of Vdsi to info.
There will be no retirement packages. Just layoffs and rebadges. I don't even think VDSI has been around long enough for anyone to qualify for retirement.

I think the world is waking up that out sourcing to India is a scam. Unproductive. Poor quality of work. It’s a lose lose situation. I would unload vdsi as a whole. The ones that I delt with over there, to get them to be productive you need to put up to their manager. Even the management s---s. Just end it.
Can some one confirm if VRS is there or not next month.
Why don't the company give some basic package and get rid off all oldies..
All IT companies are going through this phase as part of Digital Transformations.
Only way to survive is to upgrade your skills and get ready for it.
Those who got D rating for sure this is not right place .. Start preparing and look for other opportunities.
And the IT companies(both in US and India) keep claiming they cant find enough programmers. They just want to drive down salaries and recruit only freshers
No clue ...So many new faces , so many Interns ...I really believe that Verizon India will change dramatically and will retain resources who has enough skills in ML and Data science. Rest of all will be given an option to train or they will be moved out either via D rating or thru layoff ...Situation is pathetic across all Indian IT companies and job opportunities is getting shrinked for 10 plus years of exp. Year 2019 is going to be completely Transformation . Uncertainty is at peak ....
