Can we expect more layoffs at Ford today? Yesterday's numbers seem too low for it to have been completed - at least in my opinion. I'm worried that not only will we see more before the end of the week, but that we are yet to see the bulk of it.
I really hope I'm wrong, though...

The big layoffs come when the next stage is complete. April then May.

How would the media know? Ford seems intent on keeping it as quiet as possible. They're certainly not going to report on anything said on this site since there's no way to verify the source.
Why hasn't the media picked up on it yet?
