Yes Hunter was no saint and he will be remembered as a Scrooge. However, this employee appreciatiation locomotive is one of the areas of waste Hunter would have cut. One thing you got to respect about Hunter is he wasn’t afraid to trim the fat at the top or hurt anyone’s feelings. UP is full of politicians that blow smoke up everyone’s butt. So, at the end of the day although I think Hunter was stupid to come out of retirement and go to csx, and I concede he was one greedy individual, I have mountains more respect for him than Lance.
It shows a complete lack of emotional intelligence, empathy, and just plain consideration on the part of the UP corporate leadership to even be messing with an employee pride locomotive right now.
Maybe Lance is high, though likely, he is just plain greedy and dumb. Certainly another case where as much as I dislike Hunter Harrison, at least he was original and I doubt id--tic enough to make an employee pride locomotive while demolishing the railroad. But Lance, he's just a politically correct, greedy, copycat.

Employee pride locomotive I’d a joke. All the people voting have no clue how everybody that works for UP is just 1 on the head count. UP is NOT a employee friendly company.
