One Fresh manager will be cut. There will be only one fresh manager and two fresh teamleads running fresh. Two of the best all around team leads will be kept. Any team leads who do not know how to run their business or do not have a general idea about how to run other departments will be layed off or offered another position in the club. Most important departments will be bakery and meat department when it comes to selecting teamleads for fresh. Any team lead who knows how to order properly for meat and bakery and knows how to cut meat and decorate cakes will be most likely selected. Sams clubs standards are increasing so being well spoken and having good presentation will play a part in the selection of fresh teamleads. Sams club went through a experiment to see if having two fresh managers would make a difference in the company and it has not. The company has not seen any improvement in sales or profit in the company overall. As a result of this sams club will go back to having 1 Fresh manager along with the clubs 2 best fresh team leads. I recommend clubs begin to plan for this drastic change and begin to select these team leads. The pay increase for teamleads will go from $15 to $22/hr. The fresh manager that is selected will also recieve a pay increase TBD.

ASM wage is $50k which when divided by 50 hours comes to $19/hr. You think they will pay a fresh lead more than an ASM? Nah.
Why do we have two fresh managers anyway? They needed two grocery managers with all the sh-- I see ours go through with all those former AP manager duties.
It makes sense. Sams club is looking to use that money to invest in more associates. You dont need all those team leads and 2 managers if you have enough hands working to keep fresh where it needs to be. And whoever posted this thank you because i know the company is hiding alot from is and its time that people know whats going on.

When it does happen it will be the 3rd time they have cut produce lead or added it to another dept smh... Have fun doing/ worrying about daily 10 pallet trucks with complete breakdown of every pallet. These are not bakery/freezer/cooler pallets this stuff is extremely perishable has to stay in rotation or trash. Don't forget to date and rotating every item, bi-weekly complete category audit... Most important of all culling.
What about pizza cafe? Who will take over that department?
