Management is just using this 2.0 excuse to promote their fan boys, followers, yes sirs, and worshipers into better position. If you are not visible in the new 2.0 chain, the future is bleak for you. Its a great opportunity for transformation of wealth, power and position.

This has to be a post about IT. Look at the leadership , you are spot on
They will keep top notch to do the real jobs but then the ones with the positions will be the boot lickers and the cronies. All the hard work of laughing at his dumb jokes and repeating what the SME said on the call back to everyone is going to pay off now.
Before I clicked the button, I was talking to a coleage about the new org. She said it's all going to depend on the quality of the folks staying behind. I know some of them that stayed are top notch, and some are just boot-lickers. I took the package. She stayed and got promoted. If they can do a RIF this year and get rid of some of the butt-kissers, they should do fine. I worry that they don't know the difference.
