The last person I personally know that was RIFd was a top performer making low wages in the US. Our manager did not know, the employee was informed without warning by the VP in the LOB and the severance was 2 weeks plus 1 week for each year after your first. So this person got 7 weeks severance for 6 years of service. Be aware that your health insurance and other benefits end the day you are RIFd, you do not get until the end of the month or any time at all to get things in order.
Typically one months salary plus 1 week for every year but that too can change
I think you get a week for a year. I don't think you get anything for having 3 months service. May be a base of 2-3 weeks. Other people have posted that on here before, but I haven't been laid off and don't know exactly.
who are cut? the 120k guys or 80 k guys? software engineer here
they are chopping across never know who and how.. You may get 2-3 months pay as severance if your new. If experienced.. 10 years plus, probably 100 K?
Depends on LOB one belongs
