Yes, anyone can push buttons on a TC70. That is true. But not everyone can drive a forklift well enough to unload and rack pallets. So unless you can drive and rack, you shouldn't be receiving freight.
Not anyone can do claims. Ive seen alot of assocites struggle because they cant keep up with the job responsibilities.
Backroom isn't just receiving.. they combined 3 jobs all to one position.. still have what left of receiving clerk responsibilities and claims
There will be an opener and a closer in receiving to make sure there is coverage in backroom, like any other area. Backroom is 5am shift for now. Daytime floor associates, including day stockers that came from overnight, can fill in the gap coverage. Backroom will turn to be a 4am shift and closing shift after the dust settles from the restructure as a whole.
What about claims? That's a part of being backroom associate, can anybody do that as well?
Anybody can clean toilets and ride around on a floor scrubber as well. I don’t see anyone other than maintenance doing those things.
