When is expected to happen is it for new joiner also..who has spent less then a year? Thoughts?

Guys , Please tell , What is the chance of Campus hires(New hires) to get laid off? Has it happened in the past. I know some people have been informed by their managers about this layoff, Does that mean the others are safe?
H1bs are at a risk and my manager said he or any one including I can be laid off...not sure when?

I don't think people know for sure. Oracle tends to lay off few people in multiple orgs, that way they don't have to give the WARN notice for layoffs. That has some kind of limit, like more than 50 people in a group at a time, then have to give the WARN notice.
Since there is no WARN notice, it will probably be small groups of people from many different orgs.
there are 10000 orgs ? which org? and who will run the business critical apps if they layoff? Lay offs sound silly....
Every Q or even every Thursday and Friday can be the D day in all orgs. That's the game played by O's HR, great job!
can you give details? which org ? which country India or USA? Oracle is big , if you give abstract info we cannot guess!
Are these just rumors? or did the managers hint to the lower folks that they may GO?
I have seen new hires get riffed just a few months in at more than one employer. It happens.
Ofcourse, its possible if they sack entrie org else it's very less chance.
