Is it reporting manager? HR? Or someone unrelated? I have heard GM hired outside company for lay-off process. Wondering how it gets done at O.

Who cares who tells you you're out of a job? Does it matter? Results are the same no matter how you get informed. I remember co-workers who worked at home waiting for the Fedx truck to deliver their rif papers -it's about as inhumane as it gets. Then we had Eddie psychopath deliver the monotone rif con call and that was horrible. So don't waste your time wondering who will be the messenger of rifs, if you're on the list -you'll be gone.
there is no RIF guys , so we are ok... party time!
If you're lucky, ES may personally give another robo rif message to you. Anyway it happens, the end result is the same. You get a package, instructions on how to access your health care extension (if you're eligible) and a waiver of your rights to get your severance pay.
You will get a link to a recorded message telling everybody who dials in they’ve been fired. That’s the oracle autonomous firing machine, human touch is sooo outdated.
manager said on Thu last week that any one can be gone , either him or me. Am I on the chopping block?
Yes, you will get a hint about the RIF. If your business is not doing well it is a clear sign that you will be asked to leave.
Does anyone heard lay-off in Oracle Singapore digital team?
It's just a phone call away ; process is careless but don't take it personally: it's just business.
did any Manager or HR hint the guys below that they could be laid off??? million dollar question
You manger with HR person will call and give you the letter. It would be painful if you have worked in Ora for many years, but move on. I think Ora will sink soon.
I have heard mostly that it is the reporting manager that tells you. But, also heard of larger layoffs in groups that were handled by meetings scheduled by HR. So, sometimes it's HR that tells you.
