I am wondering if people get any salary increments or bonus in Oracle.
I have been working very hard and have made good contributions in last 4 years...but no change in pay. I managed to make few extra bucks by filing invention disclosures ...
I think it's high time to explore outside..
Town Hall Meeting with SM in Jan and another from RN in Feb. They both said that raises were coming. I am still waiting....
If you can get $10k more every 10 years, you are way above average. Not kidding.
I guess you didn’t read the Glassdoor reviews, every other one saying that you won’t get, and should not expect, salary increases. They were not kidding
Some people get raises but there's no across the board cost of living or salary increase just because. You can always ask for a raise but unless you're a favorite of your VP, it's unlikely you'll get one. Unlike normal companies - Oracle has no reason to incent employees to stay. If you don't like your salary, you can leave. I've had to deliver that message to my team many times and they seem to get it now, but there's no usual employee retention or desire to keep you happy. Oracle can replace you in seconds and often does. No one is special and no one cares if you stay or go. Unfriendly and harsh attitude but they get away with it.
