"Is unlimited vacation only available in US?"
"Unlimited vacation" is the current benefit fad in the USA, probably because you still need your manager's approval to take it. No one is getting 8 weeks off.
Since other countries usually have generous vacation benefits (by law) they don't do "unlimited vacations"
Is unlimited vacation only available in US? Has anyone in Europe made use of this?
Thursday's seem to have been a favorite in the past, so I'm betting on 3/21.
This week. That’s all
Your "unlimited" vacation is approved by your manager, so if they agree to allow you to take time off, you can take it. There is no guarantee that you will not be rif'd when you get back. No raises in my team, we were told that nothing was budgeted and salary remains flat. But no surprise, it's been 6 years since I got a 2% raise and was told not to expect anything else because I'm "within the salary band" for my IC level.
there is no RIF or layoffs here , question is we have so much PTO time..can we take it , come back and work as usual? anyone getting raises ? Bonus for 2018 work?
Why yes, of course you may take unlimited PTO - it's called RIF time. Enjoy your endless vacation.....
did any one hear of any one being let go? Looks like a normal day at work and no signs of layoffs!
what about unlimited PTO? can we take it now?
last week I've heard from my colleague in HQ that someone in OMC org there was told that 3/21 is their last day
multiple dates.. some say 3/21, some say 3/25...
