Is it just me or does it seem that the only people left at BNYM are those who have not yet been hired by other companies? Everybody I know has already been laid off, left on their own or is looking for a new job. Literally everybody.
I'm just wondering if there will be anybody left working here by the end of the year...

I noticed that someone who was supposed to approve a project for me is now gone. After inquiring, I found out he went to Vanguard. Good for him!
The situation is similar to an evacuation warning , would you sit and smoke a cigar or get out !

Thinking companies don’t want people from our hell hole
I have been looking for the past couple of months. I have had some interviews but no offers as of yet. I don’t think my coworkers are looking. I think some people are Ok with a certain dead end job and culture. Im not sure how long my group will last. I’m just hoping to be laid off and then could take get my severance while I look for my next opportunity full time.
I've been looking for a new job for a long time. However, I'm also not going to leave one bad situation for another. My job search has been slow and calculated. I will take the right opportunity if and when it presents itself. In the meantime, I still have income and medical insurance, so it's not like I'm unemployed & in a rush to find something. After all the restructuring, my job has become unbearable. Very long hours, high stress, etc. I have been very honest with my boss about my unhappiness and what I would like to see change. Of course he told me it would get better, but it's only getting worse. Good luck to us all!
