Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

The possibility of an acquisition of BNYM by another bank?

I know this was deleted on a few places on this board, but I tend to think that a possibility of that happening has never been bigger. It’s almost as the leadership has already made that decision and are clearing the headcount to make the company more appealing to the potential buyer. What are the chances of that happening and who could be the potential buyer?

It’s hysterical that people in high-level management positions cannot see the reality. Hello, Cchhhhhaaaleeee Shaaaaaak? He is or is not trying to invest or grow anything at the end of the day? What is he doing? Tell it. Someone explain his result-based goals. Does the board have that? Right. The board cares too. The board hired Shark for a reason. If it’s not the same scenario as Veeeeza then what is it? Talk about it

Mr.CharlieS is getting ready for sale. Hatchet as many employees as possible for the time being. All of a sudden everything needs to be “cleaned and combined” electronically. Why? We already take excellent care of clients. This nonsense time consuming BS work. It’s ruining everything and everyone. There’s no talk of the future either. Again, all is changing and compiling for what? People, they’re getting ready to say bye/bye y’all. And don’t think you’re still getting severance by hanging around waiting for the day you’re “let go”. He’s a puke. His name is Chhhhahl1eeSharkkkkkkkkkkkk

Doubtful. If the board wanted to sell then they would have hired a ceo to get it ready for sale. Could we get an unsolicited offer? Maybe but what do you pay for no growth?

Strangely my previous posts about this topic have been deleted. Not sure why though. My guess, and this is pure speculation, is JP Morgan, but the regulators will not easily allow such a move. Unless BNYM goes into distress of course...
