Guys , Please tell , What is the chance of Oracle Campus hires(New hires) to get laid off? Has it happened in the past. I know some people have been informed by their managers about this layoff, Does that mean the others are safe?

Innocent pups, you don't see the company for what it is - but - given you make peanuts, you may be safer than the older higher paid people.

Dear Oracle Campus Newbie,
You work in a call center for Oracle. They will churn you guys and gals in and out of there like a manufacturing plant churns out shiftworkers. If you've seen the Oracle Netsuite commercials (no mention of Oracle in those BTW) ... they are asking viewers to call in to buy the software ... they are calling in to you. If I were you I'd apply to the Netsuite group. This is the future of Oracle. The rest of the oracle employees are just dying in the nursing home of technology.
Campus hire layoffs are unrealistic. If Oracle fires campus hire then their image will be screwed in universities and colleges, no college would allow them to hire again. Chill!!
