OMC definitely is not profitable and about to get purged. The top VPs left recently and more coming.
Layoffs in OMC/HQ started today from all different levels. Heard 60%+ QA will be cut.

I know five people from the user assistance team in cloud have been laid off in Bangalore
QA is being sc-apped everywhere, Engineers being paid 150 K will do QA work as well..Thats how its been in our product for the last 4 years!
40-50% in which org? or in whole IDC?
there will be 40-50% lay off for sure, HR in IDC have the list already. Today Mobile cloud team QA got layed off in OTH . Not sure exact count, more coming for sure.
OMC products are all true SaaS and overhead is expensive. I'm sure Oracle will find a way to cut it to the bone. Its one of the only product offerings that is TRULY SaaS multi-tennant and management is seeing first hand what it costs to run a true SaaS business. I'd give anything to see the movie going on behind the scenes... the tippy top of Oracle had no idea until OMC about running true cloud based multi-tennant SaaS offerings. (And yes, I know that today we have many more definitions fo what "cloud based" software or "saas" means.)
OCI is a flop product. No doubt there will be layoffs!
Why is this some person keeping on repeating OMC impact in each and every thread here? Have patience buddy. Oracle is bigger than OMC.

I heard some people were laid off in OMC team in Bangalore today. Several orgs are waiting for their turn to get laid off in India. In General , people want to get done with this.
they have no clue , lay offs are happening only in failed products and failed units. Lucky if you are in profitable units and profitable products
Is OMC really profitable? But many are saying(atleast in this forum) that there will be more layoffs in OMC
